Job Summary Looking for a BA to support Credit Card and Card Issuing initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with business, operations, and technology teams to gather requirements, drive system enhancements, and support end-to-end project delivery. This role requires strong stakeholder management, business analysis, and UAT experience within the banking industry. Candidates must have at least 3 years of banking BA experience
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements for Cards-related initiatives.
- Work closely with Business, Operations, Technology, and external vendors to deliver credit card and card issuing projects.
- Conduct business process analysis, gap analysis, and impact assessments.
- Prepare project documentation including BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows, and test scenarios.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Support SIT, UAT, defect management, and production deployment activities.
- Track project progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure deliverables are completed according to agreed timelines.
- Collaborate with regional and local stakeholders to drive successful project implementation.
- Provide ongoing support for system enhancements, regulatory changes, and business transformation initiatives within the Cards business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of Business Analyst experience within the banking industry.
- Hands-on experience in Credit Card, Card Issuing, Card Management, Merchant Acquiring, or Cards-related projects.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and stakeholder management.
- Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and end-to-end project delivery.
- Fluent Cantonese and English are mandatory.
Preferred Experience
- Retail Banking or Consumer Banking experience.
- Exposure to card migration, card platform implementation, or card lifecycle management projects.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, Visio, SQL, or similar BA tools.
- Previous experience working with regional stakeholders and third-party vendors.
