VP, Corporate Finance (M&A), Foreign Bank

Overview

With ambitious bank strategy in the region, a foreign bank is seeking to hire a VP to join their Corporate Finance Team to support the promotion and origination of acquisition financing for key corporate clients in Greater China to generate fee income for the bank and support frontline RMs to develop strong client relationships.

Role Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for carrying out research and corporate finance analysis, as well as drafting proposal, pitchbooks and preparing presentation materials;
• Participate in acquisition finance transactions for financial sponsor and corporate clients in Greater China
• Prepare credit memo, financial model, valuation analysis and credit rating applications.
• Performing in-depth credit risk analysis
• Research and provide industry and client insights on prospective target client base.
• Track M&A activities and generate deal ideas.
• Provide ad-hoc support to the business when necessary.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of corporate finance/Leveraged finance/structured finance experience;
• Financial Modelling experience including financial analysis and cash flow projection skills for large corporate customers
• Bachelor's Degree; Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, CPA, FRM are desirable
• Strong writing, communication, and presentation/excel and powerpoint skills in English;
• Due to target customer segment, proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a must.
