Exciting new role Trader role! Strachan Clark are working exclusively with a long-established Hedge Fund (2.5Bn+ USD AUM) who are seeking to add a Trader to their fast-growing front-office team. Job Duties

Review portfolios, manage orders and execute trades across the business
Manage the risks and returns of investment portfolios and offer various investment strategies/plans to the clients
Generate revenue for the business in the form of Equities and related Derivatives products
Cover various asset classes such as Equities, Futures, Options, Convertable Bonds, Credit, Arbritrage etc
Act as a liaison between trading and operations to resolve any trade settlement issues
Report market news and trading colour to PMs and discuss optimal trading strategies
Maintain good relationship with external brokers, and actively communicate with them on daily flow, stock borrow availability and market colour, etc

Requirements

3-7+ years working experience. Hedge Fund / Asset Management / Sell-Side background
BA in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics or related discipline
Someone who is keen to learn how to trade and eventually move into a trading position
Great communication and able to work well within a team
