Assist Deputy Head of Credit Risk to drive the credit risk function, implement credit control guidelines, procedures and policies to minimize the potential credit risk for the bank whilst making the best possible commercial decisions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and ensure the completeness and correctness of corporate loan documents and operational matters
- Ensure the credit administration processes are complied with regulatory requirements & internal policies, with service standards fulfilled
- Prepare and check legal and collateral documentation, ensuring requisite loan documents and the necessary condition precedent are duly completed to meet with the Bank’s standard
- Monitor & follow up documentation deficiency and outstanding loan documents
- Liaise with internal parties on non-standard loan documentation process
- Prepare regular reports for credit analysis and reporting for identifying credit risk
- Manage and motivate team members to properly perform routine and ad hoc works
- Coach, mentor and develop team members
- Perform other ad hoc projects or assignments
Job Requirements:
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines, preferably with relevant qualification in law and legal areas
- Minimum 8 years' relevant experience in Corporate / Commercial Banking credit administration management
- Holder of Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) – Credit Risk Management (CRM) qualification is preferable
- Diverse range of credit related skills in credit analysis, credit approval, credit documentation and policy
- Strong numerical and business sense
- Strong analytical and communications skills
- Sound knowledge in different types of lending and credit documentation
- Good leadership and people management skills
- Able to work independently and resolve conflicts
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
