Strategic Investment Advisory Director - Leading Pan-Asian Insurance Group

A leading pan-Asian insurance and investment group is seeking a Strategic Investment Advisory Director to join its Group Investment team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced investment professional to work closely with business unit CIOs, senior investment leaders and key stakeholders across the region, driving strategic asset allocation optimization and supporting enterprise-wide investment initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Insurance Solutions function in partnering with Business Unit to optimize strategic asset allocation and enhance investment outcomes.

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, understanding business priorities and connecting them with relevant investment capabilities and solutions.

• Partner with regional asset class leaders and investment teams to develop and implement investment strategies across asset classes.

• Maintain relationships with external asset managers, consultants and investment banks to enhance market insight and investment decision-making.

• Provide thought leadership on market trends, asset allocation and portfolio construction across Asia.

Requirements

• 15+ years of investment analysis, advisory or portfolio-related experience within insurance companies, asset managers, investment consulting firms or other financial institutions.

• Strong experience in investment consulting, insurance investments, asset allocation, multi-asset strategies or investment research.

• Strong understanding of Asian economies, capital markets and investment products.

• Proven analytical, valuation and investment research capabilities.

• Ability to translate complex investment concepts into practical, business-focused recommendations.

• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
