Core Responsibilities
- Strategic Innovation: Introduce novel technological concepts and creative digital strategies to drive business growth; proactively keep executive leadership updated on technical milestones.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of 10+ professionals across multiple pillars: Applications, IT Operations, and Infrastructure/Procurement.
- AI & Automation: Architect and deploy advanced workflow automation initiatives, specifically focusing on orchestrating ecosystems of multiple interconnected AI agents.
- Application & Platform Governance: Modernize historical frameworks toward agile, product-centric delivery models while ensuring stable cloud application frameworks and infrastructure networks.
- Vendor & Fiscal Mastery: Serve as the ultimate authority over external partners and MSPs; confidently challenge vendors to ensure on-time, high-quality technical delivery while managing the IT CAPEX/OPEX budget.
- Education: University degree in Computer Science or relevant disciplines
- Experience: 10+ years in Information Technology, including 4+ years leading multi-disciplinary technology teams through major digital overhauls (prefer at Manager/ Senior Manager level leading a middle size team with around 8-10+ members).
- Technical Depth: Coming from a technically strong development background or an application architect, paired with a broad mastery of hybrid/cloud setups (Azure, GCP, AWS) and systems engineering.
- AI Expertise: Demonstrated track record of launching data-centric projects, workflow automation engines, or Multi-Agent AI configurations.
- Vendor Governance: Exceptional commercial negotiation skills with proven experience auditing, challenging, and governing MSP and SaaS contracts.
- Industry & Frameworks: Welcome candidates coming from any industry background, previously working in enterprise environments is preferred; familiarity with ITIL, ISO 27001, and DevOps/Agile methodologies.
- Language: Excellent command in Cantonese and English
- Personality: Visionary, innovative and proactive leader who able to roll up sleeves to build new things and lead by examples
