Job Description
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from front-office users and stakeholders.
- Act as a bridge between business users and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform business process analysis and identify opportunities for workflow optimization and automation.
- Prepare functional specifications, user stories, business requirement documents (BRDs), and process flows.
- Support system implementation, UAT planning, test case preparation, and defect resolution.
- Collaborate with traders, sales, operations, risk, compliance, and IT teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Participate in system enhancements related to trading, order management, settlement, and post-trade processing.
- Provide subject matter expertise for OTC products and Equities business processes.
- Support project governance, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 5-7 years of Business Analyst experience within a securities firm, investment bank, brokerage, or capital markets environment.
- Strong knowledge of Equities trading and OTC products.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, business process mapping, and system implementation projects.
- Solid understanding of the securities trading lifecycle and capital markets operations.
- Experience working with front-office and middle-office stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with trading platforms, OMS/EMS, post-trade systems, or securities operations platforms.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within the Hong Kong securities market.
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or CFA are advantageous.
- Cantonese/ Mandrian speaking is requried.
- A competitive monthly salary ranging from HKD 31,500 to HKD 38,500.
