Senior Associate/AVP, Credit Analyst, Foreign Corporate Bank

Overview

A fast-growing foreign corporate bank is currently seeking a Senior Associate/AVP, Credit Analysis to prepare new and renewal credit applications for large corporate banking clients.

Role Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the preparation of new and renewal credit applications according to bank credit policy and proceed with applications through the approval processes
• Work closely together with Corporate Banking relationship managers including providing advice on deal structures and assess credit risk in order to support business activities

• Responsible for credit monitoring, credit policy review, and credit proposals writing in accordance with credit policies
• Keep abreast of regulatory requirement for credit risk management
• Prepare and provide advisory on loan documentation process
• Develop and conduct trainings for internal credit staff
• Perform other ad-hoc duties from time to time assigned by the department head

Requirements

• University graduate in Accounting/Finance/Business or other related disciplines
• Minimum 2-4 years' solid credit analysis experience in corporate banking, less experienced candidate will be considered as AVP
• In-depth knowledge of banking products, credit analysis, and loan documentation
• Holder of HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) Qualification is preferable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in English and Cantonese
