Job Title: Radiographer II

Location: Central, Hong Kong

Job Purpose

Perform medical imaging duties according to codes and standards issued by radiographer board, and to employers safety procedures.

Part Time rates can also be discussed separately for those only able to work part-time hours.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate X-ray, Mammogram (if applicable) and Dexa machines
2. Provide imaging services for patients and handle patients’ enquiries
3. Process films with CR film processor
4. Maintain patients’ records and prepare reports
5. Able to interpret films as per the client specified codes and standards
6. Assist in conducting regular maintenance checks and other relevant procedures on imaging machines
7. Assist center manager in delegating responsibilities to subordinates and monitor their performance
8. Assist in the delivery of special modality services
9. Any ad hoc tasks as assigned

Qualifications, Training and Experience:

1. University graduate in Radiography or relevant disciplines with a Part II or above registered with the HK Radiographers Board
2. With experience in operating X-ray machines
3. Well conversant with industry codes / standards and perform job meeting the safety regulations
4. Strong sense of responsibility, organized and hardworking
5. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Mandarin skills will be an advantage
6. Proficient in MS office

Key relationships:

1. Internal: Radiologist, Centre colleague
2. External: Doctor, HA, Medical equipment vendor

2. Report issues, incidents and complaints in a timely manner.
3. Understand the laws, regulations, policies and procedures that apply and ensure controls enabling compliance are built into documented processes and procedures
4. Work in accordance with Safety policy, always applying safe working practices and procedures and comply with all instructions given about ensuring health and safety at work.
5. Apply information security skills and / or experience to effectively and securely perform the required obligations of the organisation
