Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of middleware administrators and engineers in the design, implementation, and maintenance of middleware infrastructure for the bank's systems
- Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure middleware infrastructure is performing optimally and meeting business requirements
- Develop and maintain middleware standards, policies, and procedures
- Manage middleware incidents and problems, including root cause analysis and resolution
- Collaborate with other teams, such as network and security, to ensure middleware infrastructure is secure and compliant with regulatory requirements
- Coach and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and professional development
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with middleware tools such as WebSphere and JBoss
- Experience with containerization technologies such as OpenShift or Kubernetes would be a plus
- Familiarity with monitoring and performance tuning of middleware infrastructure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of banking industry and regulatory requirements would be a plus
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in middleware administration and engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role
- Relevant certifications such as IBM Certified System Administrator for WebSphere Application Server or Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration would be a plus
