Company Description
Our client, a leading international asset management company, is seeking an Investment Analyst. Assisting senior portfolio managers, the candidate will be responsible for conducting fundamental research on companies, with a primary focus on India equities, and secondarily on ASEAN markets.
Responsibilities
- Research work includes company visits, maintenance of detailed models, writing internal notes, stock grading and making recommendations to fund managers
- Communicate stock ideas and market views to fund managers via written work
- Participate in daily conference calls / meetings and ad hoc contact with investors
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in analyzing companies, either buy or sell-side. Prior experience in India / ASEAN markets is required
- Possess technical skills, i.e. university degree Finance / Accounting, CFA, MBA or similar qualification and strong grounding in use of these techniques on the job
- Believer in merits of fundamental research
- Strong communicator with excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin
- Should have worked in a multinational company and be independent
