The Job

Due to the expansion of the business, a team is set up to drive the Company's accelerating growth strategy in non-HK regions. We are looking for the Senior Director to assist the Head of Business Development to plan, develop and execute the business planning:-

• Formulate business strategies and sales plans to achieve growth in business and agency force in close collaboration of Head of Business Development;
• Implement the Company's business development strategy in non-HK regions, seize business opportunities and explore new customer segments to achieve the Company's strategic business objectives;
• Oversee the daily operations of the team in areas of communication, compliance, performance management of agents/managers, in accordance with the company guidelines and regulatory requirements;
• Build strong relationship with senior management and internal stakeholders to deliver effective agency growth plan;
• Keep abreast of market trends, landscape and industry best practice to ensure the competitiveness of new hire package and arrangement;
• Manage the implementation of activity management under his/her supervision to achieve productivity improvement.

The Person

• University degree in any discipline with minimum of 15 years' experience in insurance and/or financial services industry with at least 10 years in supervisory/managerial capacity; agency channel knowledge is highly preferred;
• Strategic thinking;
• Excellent leadership, influencing and stakeholder management skills;
• Strong business acumen and analytical skill;
• Solid experience in agency recruitment and management of life insurance;
• Fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken);
• Able to handle conflicts and self-motivated in difficult situations.
