Your new company

Our client is a well-established international bank with a strong corporate banking franchise in Asia. Due to continued business growth, they are looking for a Korean-speaking Credit Analyst to join their Hong Kong team and support credit underwriting and portfolio management activities.

Your new role

• Conduct credit analysis and financial statement reviews for corporate lending opportunities
• Prepare credit proposals, annual reviews, and credit recommendation papers for approval
• Assess client financial performance, industry trends, and business risks
• Monitor existing credit exposures and identify potential credit concerns
• Perform ongoing portfolio reviews and covenant monitoring
• Work closely with Relationship Managers, Risk Management, Compliance, and Operations teams
• Support regulatory and internal reporting requirements
• Liaise with Korean-speaking clients and regional stakeholders on credit-related matters

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines
• 3-5 years of experience in corporate banking, credit analysis, credit risk, or commercial banking
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit assessment, and lending principles
• Experience preparing credit applications and credit review reports
• Ability to analyse financial statements and evaluate borrower risk profiles
• Fluent Korean and English are required due to frequent interaction with Korean-speaking clients and stakeholders
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
