We are working on behalf of a leading global investment management organisation to appoint a Client Manager to join its Frankfurt office.
This is a key client-facing role within the organisation's EMEA Client Services function, partnering closely with the German Wholesale Sales team and collaborating with colleagues across Europe.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting client relationships, coordinating sales and client service activity, providing market intelligence and ensuring a high level of service to clients and distribution partners.

The Opportunity
We are working on behalf of a leading global investment management organisation to appoint a Client Manager to join its Frankfurt office.
This is a key client-facing role within the organisation's EMEA Client Services function, partnering closely with the German Wholesale Sales team and collaborating with colleagues across Europe.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting client relationships, coordinating sales and client service activity, providing market intelligence and ensuring a high level of service to clients and distribution partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative and client service support to the German sales team.
- Partner with Sales Directors to manage existing client relationships and support the onboarding of new clients.
- Manage inbound client queries, working closely with Investment, Operations, Compliance and other internal teams to provide accurate and timely responses.
- Collaborate with pan-European teams across Client Service, Product, Legal & Compliance, Operations, Marketing, Performance, RFP and Investment.
- Coordinate marketing materials, presentations and RFP responses.
- Maintain accurate client and activity records within the CRM system and monitor product interest and pipeline activity.
- Oversee client reporting and mailouts, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Build strong relationships with local investment and marketing platforms and distribution partners.
- Support platform onboarding, including new share classes, fund information and supporting documentation.
- Assist with client and platform onboarding processes, including distribution agreements, rebate arrangements, share class launches and due diligence.
- Prepare internal reporting, monitor client flows and identify relevant opportunities.
- Support the planning and organisation of client events, including roadshows, roundtables and webinars.
- Coordinate targeted marketing campaigns and ensure relevant activity is captured within the CRM.
- Conduct market research and prepare market intelligence to support the sales team.
- Take responsibility for local office management activities.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A university or business school degree, ideally in Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
- Experience within asset management, investment management, financial services or a related institutional environment.
- Strong client service and relationship management skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a wider team.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach with strong commercial awareness.
- Excellent responsiveness and a genuine commitment to delivering a first-class client experience.
- An interest in financial markets and the ability to keep up to date with market trends and themes.
