Head of Infrastructure

Head of IT Infrastructure from a global leading investment company

Summary

The incumbent will be responsible for leading the building of China infrastructure. He/She will manage the China Infrastructure team, and support the development of China business.

Key Responsibilities as Head of Infrastructure
a) IT Infrastructure
 Supervise IT infrastructure and assure it is in line with global standards and meets the local regulatory requirements.
 Handle the platform setup and maintenance on some of the main technologies (see technical requisites)
 Prepare the regional security audits with Amundi IT Services and external vendor

b) Service Delivery Management
 Manage the Infrastructure team: be proactive in case of any incident to communicate to APAC colleagues, the infrastructure team in HQ, and users. Help on the analysis and Resolution. Escalate if necessary.
 Organize weekly China meeting to review the incidents, problems and changes
 Foster platform support for clients

c) Governance
 Develop IT strategic thinking and roadmap for China service evolution
 Manage and follow the infrastructure projects in relation with this roadmap. Ensure that all the projects meet minimum ROI (cost/benefit) requirement.
 Document and implement Infrastructure policies and procedures.
 Manage changes in the evolution of the platform
 Actively manage IT Risks in accordance with the Group's Risk framework across the region. In particular, ensure risks are properly evaluated, recorded and mitigating action plans are monitored through to completion.
 Prepare regular reporting on regular activities in addition to projects.
 Prepare audits and regulatory requests

d) Vendors management
 Supervise vendor relationships and any outsourced services and staff. Manage SLA's/KPI's and commercial constraints.
 Prepare and maintain "OES" (Outsourced External Services) documentation up to date

e) Staff management
 Manage the China based Infrastructure staff.

f) Budget and cost
 Manage the local budget, prepare and control the overall IT cost.

g) Support the development of business in China

Requisites:
To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the following requisites:
Experience in Supporting business growth
Technical skills: expertise on at least one group of the list below
- Windows servers and virtualization (VMware) administration
- Database administration : PostgreSQL, MS SQL
- Linux and Kubernetes administration
- Network administration
 Familiar with other infrastructure technologies: network, Linux, storage & backup solutions, database, monitoring, supervision, SIEM tools
Familiar with Cloud technology and services. Experience with local financial cloud providers (SSE Tech 上交所技术云 / SSCC 深证通云) or Ali / Tencent cloud preferred
Already managed infrastructure of major professional financial or IT company
Ability to understand and support the business strategies and requirements of Amundi Technology in China
Possess excellent interpersonal skills to handle users' request
Experienced interacting with senior IT and business management people
Proactive and showing initiative
Good Chinese and English verbal and written communication skills.
Be task oriented
Ability to take ownership for issues and drive remediation.
Excellent problem analysis and solving skills by understanding complex issues quickly and set priorities according to technical as well as strategic considerations
Experience of working under pressure without compromising on the quality of deliverables/results
Ability to understand the legal and regulatory environments relating to IT in China
