ZLC has ambitious growth plans over the next few years and requires an experienced finance leader and business partner to join a small executive team. Reporting to the President, the CFO/COO will play a key leadership role in enabling this growth. The CFO/COO has two broad mandates: the first, to lead all accounting, financial reporting and financial administration for ZLC through the Corporate Finance team; the second, to ensure that all systems (IT, administrative, regulatory, risk) optimally support the growth of ZLC’s three main lines of business: investments, insurance and benefits. The CFO/COO is also a key member of ZLC’s Senior Leadership Team, which is responsible for the firm’s strategic direction, risk management and corporate development.
The ideal candidate will bring executive-level finance and corporate services experience within an entrepreneurial and complex business, and ideally with involvement in M&A activity. This experience will ideally have been gained from within a boutique advisory environment, an investment management or insurance firm, a credit union or a complex and related organization.
Overseeing a team of around 20, this is a tremendous opportunity for a talented business leader to influence the exciting growth of a highly dynamic company that is positioned for growth.
