What a Senior Trade Operations Analyst do es : This
Senior Trade Operations Analyst is subject matter expert within our Operation Team in Toronto. They are process experts within the team, dealing with complex issues and deliver resolution; providing support to Operations and the business based on technical knowledge of team and role. They have technical understanding of the FNZ platform functionality and operation, end to end view of the process and platform for FNZ team.
The
Senior Trade Operations Analyst strives to continuously provide high quality service, output and products to clients and/or colleagues . They are easily managing time, plans and organises work tasks, monitors progress and meets deadlines . They can manage multiple priorities and takes personal responsibility to achieve. Our
Senior Trade Operations Analyst continuously learns from experience and thinks creatively to improve ways of working . they share knowledge and experience with others .
Key responsibilities for the
Senior Trade Operations Analyst include:
Assist with the processing of trades, confirmations, payments, and settlements
On point to deliver, test, implement any change into the team, document any procedural changes to support change.
Support manager in reviewing work and production of MI to demonstrate effectiveness of controls within team.
Review any project documentation to assess impact to team, Review procedures periodically to ensure completeness and accuracy to current process.
Support the BAU function with deliverables as and when required , ensure knowledge of process is maintained by performing BAU tasks regularly.
Drive forward ideas from the team to improve the existing operating process.
Keep up to date with market changes and developments that impact the team, have a sound overall awareness of the teams/ functions.
What we are looking for: Experience Required:
3+ years of experience within the Wealth Management, platform, banking or other relevant industry.
Excellent and proven conflict resolution skills.
The ability to build effective relationships, both within the immediate team and wider business.
Has demonstrated an ability to work under pressure whilst ensuring KPI's are met.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience Preferred:
Works with US and Canadian regulatory requirements.
Proposition knowledge of platform industry, from Retail Client to Asset Servicing delivery.
