An exciting opportunity exists to join a large and complex organisation undergoing continued investment in its enterprise data capabilities. Working within a collaborative Data Platforms and Governance team, you'll help support the delivery and ongoing enhancement of a modern data platform environment.
Your new role
As a Technical Business Analyst, you'll act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, supporting data platform initiatives, data quality improvements and governance activities. You'll gather and document requirements, facilitate stakeholder engagement, support onboarding and data access processes, and work closely with Data Engineers, Data Owners and business users to drive successful outcomes. The role also includes a small amount of project coordination and reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you'll bring experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Data Business Analyst or similar role within a data, analytics or technology environment. You'll have strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills, along with a solid understanding of data governance, data quality and modern data platforms. Exposure to technologies such as SQL, Databricks, Azure Data Factory or Power BI will be highly regarded. However, hands-on technical expertise is not essential.
What you'll get in return
You'll secure a long-term contract opportunity through to June 2027, working on meaningful data initiatives within a modern technology environment. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to contribute to enterprise-wide data quality and governance outcomes.
