Step into a varied HR Generalist role within a close-knit People & Culture team in Rhodes. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you'll be their right hand in a two-person team, getting broad, hands-on exposure across the full employee lifecycle.
It's a permanent, full-time role paying $90,000 + super , with real flexibility: work from home up to four days a week , with just one day in the office (onsite parking included).

About the opportunity
Step into a varied HR Generalist role within a close-knit People & Culture team in Rhodes. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you'll be their right hand in a two-person team, getting broad, hands-on exposure across the full employee lifecycle.

What you'll do
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, inductions, offboarding, and team member movements
- Prepare employment contracts, letters, and HR documentation
- Maintain the HRIS and support payroll with accurate, timely data
- Respond to team member queries, escalating complex matters to the P&C Manager
- Help ensure compliance with the Fair Work Act, Awards, and the National Employment Standards, and assist with policy development and review
- Support performance management, probation reviews, and compliance audits
- Lead the coordination of L&D activities and help design and facilitate small group sessions
- Contribute to engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion initiatives, including leading working groups
- Prepare data for HR reporting, dashboards, and summaries that inform decision-making
- Support strategic people projects and champion a positive, inclusive culture
- Degree qualifications in HR, business, or a similar field (or currently studying)
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role or a senior HR generalist position within a diverse organisation
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and a practical, service-minded approach to HR
- Work from home up to 4 days per week
- $50 per week travel allowance
