Your new role
As a Senior Accountant within the Business Services team, you will manage a diverse client portfolio while providing high-quality compliance and advisory services.Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
- Providing proactive taxation and business advisory solutions
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Assisting clients with business growth, cash flow and strategic planning matters
- Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and providing coaching and support
- Assisting with tax planning and complex client engagements
- Working closely with Managers and Partners to deliver exceptional client outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- CA or CPA qualification
- 4+ years' experience within a public practice accounting firm
- Strong technical knowledge across business services and taxation
- Experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Xero and cloud-based accounting platforms
