Environment

SG CIB is the Corporate and Investment Banking arm of the Société Générale Group. Present in over 50 countries across Europe, the Americas and Asia. SG CIB provides corporate, financial institutions, investors and public sector clients with value-added integrated financial solutions.

Primary Objectives:

Provide first level support and control to trading desk and to reduce operational risk. Ability to spot and alert trader of the error immediately. Ensure procedure and FBK rules are follow. Incident is to be reported and highlighted to manager and team leader immediately.

Mission

Major Accountabilities / Principal Responsibilities:

Duties

  • Deal validation between FO input against external sources
  • Fixing of NDF, CMS, NDIRS, NDSwap
  • Daily reconciliation on futures positions against clearers statement
  • Monitoring the feeding of electronic executed trades for fail trade
  • Assist in Novation / Restructuring of trades
  • Assisting/resolving queries from FO and BO
  • Assist in amendment from FO when needed
  • End of Day reconciliation between FO blotter and system input
  • End of Day check for system and loading of rates


Profile

Key Skill Areas & Knowledge Required:

  • Knowledge on Banking Products such as IRD, Futures, Bonds, Commodities, FX Spot/FWD/Swap, NDF, MM, CDS, Inflation Swap
  • Ability to communicate at different levels
  • Exposure of Middle Office functions and knowledge of Front-to-Back process
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
