AIM Operations is responsible for the architecture and design of investment processes and IT tools, selection and steering of service providers, project management, and budget management. For our AIM hub in Munich we are looking for a Project Manager / Business Analyst with a strong focus on the operations functions (settlement and position keeping of securities, loans, and derivatives). Major tasks will be the implementation of new asset classes and the broadening of pooled services for other Allianz units.

Job Purpose/Role

Your main partners will be investment units within AIM and with Asset Managers, the AIM Investment Operations Units (AIM Transactions Securities, AIM Transactions Loans), as well as internal and external services providers (e.g. Allianz Technology, IDS, custodians etc.). AIM MUC Ops is integral part of the Global Operations functions. Therefore the intensive interaction with global teams is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ongoing optimization of existing processes and tools including ongoing KPI reporting
  • Analysis of operations requirements of new asset classes
  • Design of processes and implementation of new financial instruments in our tool landscape
  • Support rollout of our services to further Allianz entities in- and outside of Germany
  • Management of transversal issues (e.g. data management) in cooperation with the AIM reporting team and our international colleagues
  • Project management and support for AIM settlement teams
  • Budget controlling for the respective IT project, maintenance and run budgets
  • Control of payment authorizations

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Customer and team orientation
  • Personal drive and “getting things done” mentality
  • Good communication skills in German and English (spoken and written)
  • Project management skills
  • 2-4 years of experience in working within the Allianz Group
  • Ideally experience in multi stakeholder management and complex process environment
